Leading a small group might be the challenge you have been looking for or maybe you simply have a heart for seeing people embrace and grow in Christ. Small Groups at LifePoint is the environment designed for people to experience discipleship and community on an ongoing basis.

Group Leader Qualifications

  • Confess that Jesus Christ is your forgiver, leader, Lord and Savior and have been baptized.
  • Be an active member of LifePoint Church.
  • Regard the Bible as the God spoken authoritative guide in your life and faith.
  • Hold to the Vision and Core Values of LifePoint Church.
  • Agree to come into the LifePoint Groups Ministry leadership structure.

Objectives for Small Group

Discipleship
  • Bible Study 2 times per month and praying for the lost
  • Worship in personal "quiet time" and corporately
  • Developing future leaders through apprenticing
Community
  • Fellowship during monthly party and an i2i party one time a quarter
  • Accountability to each other in order to grow in Christ
  • Belonging as everyone shares the work load
Service
  • Lead each member to service at LifePoint
  • Community service projects or investing in the lost
  • Serve each other and the world

Small Group Leader Position Description

Facilitate/Lead a group of 4 to 12 adults in becoming Christ-centered
Major responsibilities:
  1. Build a leadership team/share the load
  2. Conduct life-changing group meetings
  3. Shepherd the members of your group
  4. Complete group covenant
  5. Develop an apprentice
